“We need quiet time to examine our lives openly and honestly - spending quiet time alone gives your mind an opportunity to renew itself and create order.”

Tools for the Task

Home projects are worth all the while when you know what you are doing. From start to finish, planning and following through on instructions and methods are essential to seeing the desired outcome. While this is quite true, ultimately nothing can be accomplished without the proper tools to help get the job done.
I tend to see principles and lessons is pretty much everything no matter how simple. It's not so much that I consciously look for them. It would seem more so that "they" are looking for me. Like home projects living a spiritual life requires knowing God's plan and following through on His instructions and methods are vital to acquiring the desired outcome of "Christ being formed in us". And like home projects we as believers need the necessary tools to help us to do our part of getting the job done. We need the Word of God to learn first and foremost who God is and what He requires of us. It is through the Word of God we obtain the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the ins and outs of God and His vision for humanity. It is also a doubled edge sword when coupled with faith and spoken out of the mouth of a believer to execute its plan.
We need Jesus Christ because He is our salvation and in Him, we live and move and have our very being/existence. We need the help of the Holy Spirit to teach us all things and bring the word back to our remembrance daily as we experience life. We also need prayer to commune with God and praying in the Holy Spirit to build ourselves up in our most holy faith. We can experience victory as a believer when we implore all that is in our arsenal of tools. The bible is filled with many more. Remember that the many facets of growing into spiritual maturity includes the testing of our faith which come to make us strong. In this season of testing take time to familiarize yourself with all that God has given us which/ pertain to life and godliness. And be in faith (full assurance in God) that Christ, the author and finisher of our faith will be formed in you…which is the hope of glory!
